2008 South Bay Dozen
Date: Saturday June 28th- Torrance Beach, 8:00am Start 3:00pm Awards Ceremony
The third annual South Bay Dozen is coming up. This day of ocean racing is open to anyone. There are 12 races and 12 great prizes. The South Bay Dozen is put on by our good friend Mike Murphy and is sponsored by the South Bay Surf Club and Hennessey's. Come down and race or come down and cheer
Ocean Therapy Days
Date: Weekdays throughout the summer.
Volunteer to help with our unique ocean therapy days. We will have many days in the summer when you can help and experience a day of ocean therapy for a child who can use it. Help us make our mission a reality for these kids.
Manhattan Beach Chamber/Mayor's Golf Tournament
Date: Monday May 12th 2008- Candlewood Country Club, 14000 Telegraph Road, Whittier, CA. The JMMF is honored to be included along with the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation and the Mira Costa High School Golf Teams as recipients of the funds raised at this event. Much thanks to the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, the City of Manhattan Beach and Darin Miller for their support.

Fourth Annual "The Jimmy" Miller Memorial Foundation Surf Fiesta
Date: Sunday October 19th 2008- Rosecrans Ave- Manhattan Beach. A one of kind team surf contest which will bring together surfers of different levels to compete in a team format that fosters teamwork, encouragement and friendly competition.
