The Benefiesta Recap Video & The John Detemple’s “Aquatic Echoes”

The BeneFiesta Recap

What a magical night for the the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation. Twenty years ago, family and close friends united to honor the life of Jimmy Miller and found healing through a groundbreaking vision created by Dr. Carly Rogers: Surf Therapy.

From this vision, the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation (JMMF) was established, dedicated to sharing Jimmy’s love of the ocean while providing therapeutic programs proven to heal trauma, TBI, and PTSD in various forms.

By the time of the event, JMMF was offering Ocean Therapy programs to more than 15 populations across Southern California, transforming loss into hope and healing.

The annual Benefiesta had become the foundation’s signature fundraising event, essential in powering these transformative sessions year-round. During the event, attendees heard from passionate instructors, dedicated volunteers, and inspiring leaders, as well as saw the sponsors, speakers, and contributors who made it all possible.
